Senior Airman Emily Leehan and United States Marine Corps Sergeant Joshua Newville have decided to get married.
In order to be able to organize a wedding party in New York, they took a short leave.
The newlyweds are expected to resume their service right after the wedding and did not have the free time for the honeymoon.

For the groom, it was the second marriage. Joshua had a four-year-old son named Gage.
During the ceremony, there was a touching incident for everyone.
Emily wanted to show that her new husband’s son understood how special he was to her.
And after the ring exchange, the bride took the microphone and spoke some prepared words for the four-year-old boy.
The ceremony was described by 6ABC who said it didn’t take long for little Gage to throw himself into his mother-in-law’s arms.
“I want you to be safe and do your best and be a good person,” Leehan said.
The little boy started crying in the arms of his mother-in-law who kissed and cuddled him.
So his dad addressed him hugging him, “Don’t cry baby. My friend. How are you. »
At the end of her emotional speech, Emily added, “The last thing I hope you learn is that you are a special boy.
You are so smart, beautiful and kind. I may not have a gift for you, but life has surely given me a gift, it’s you. »
