On January 20, 2023, the married couple Bobby and Kenny McCaughey made headlines in all publications.
And this is because Kenny gave birth to seven children on the same day, 4 boys and 3 girls.
All the newspapers wrote about the medical miracle because no one had ever done it before. And, most importantly, all seven were born healthy.
After the birth of their first daughter, Michaela, Kenny was unable to get pregnant for a long time.
That’s why they decided to undergo in vitro fertilization. In medicine, there are cases of double and triple bonuses.
But this family was lucky seven times over. Kenny gave birth prematurely, nine weeks early.
On average, each baby weighed one kilogram. There were also complications; it was discovered that Nathan and Alexis were experiencing developmental delays.

Due to the diagnosis of cerebral palsy, the children had to undergo several surgeries.
People from all over the world started helping the large family.
A charitable foundation provided them with housing, where each had their own bedroom.
They also received a college education and free meals. George W. Bush visited them, and even Oprah Winfrey couldn’t leave the children without attention.
The McCaugheys retreated from public life when the children were ten years old.
Kenny Jr wants to become a builder. His birth weight was almost 1.5 kg. He is now attending college in Des Moines and dreams of becoming a skilled construction worker.
“I think it will be better for everyone to take different paths, each choosing their own specialty and occupation based on their interests!” says the young man.

Nathan Roy is the future IT specialist. Nathan, like his sister Alexis, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Brandon James is in the military. Brandon was the only child who chose to go into the military instead of attending university.
Joel Steven wants to become a programmer. Joel Steven was born last, and his birth weight was 975 grams.
The parents say they can’t get used to the fact that their once bustling home is gradually emptying.
But they are happy that the children are pursuing their dreams.
