Melvin and Nancy lived together for 70 years. Today too, the spouses love each other as before.
And they decided to organize their platinum nuptials on the occasion of the 70th wedding anniversary.
The couple’s granddaughter is a photographer and prepared a photo shoot for her grandparents, which they weren’t able to do in the past.
The spouses gladly accepted this proposal. Both kept the clothes they had worn during their marriage.
The groom put on his military uniform and the bride her wedding dress.
The couple enjoyed the photo session very much and Melvin and Nancy were very happy to be the center of attention.
They looked at each other tenderly and smiled incessantly.
Their granddaughter photographed them in the hall and in the garden.
From the photos taken, you could imagine how much they loved each other and that the years they spent together were full of love and respect.
Nancy’s white dress was in great condition and the elderly woman looked beautiful.
“I kept my wedding dress for 70 years because it was something special for me. I wore it with pleasure, remembering our wedding day,” Nancy explained.
For the elderly spouses, especially the photo session was very pleasant.
“I am very proud to be her husband,” Melvin said in front of all the guests.
The man was really moved when he saw his wife in her wedding outfit.
During all these years, the spouses had five children and 33 grandsons and great-grandsons.
They declare that the secret of their happiness is respect and love.
