An old house had been for sale for years in the town of Portishead in England. But no one was risking its purchase.
Spouse Kristen and Steve Currer, 30, decided to redo this 1970s habitat because he didn’t have enough budget to buy a new apartment or detached house.
The couple bought this house quite below the average real estate price.
The house was in poor condition and the electricity and heating were not working.
When the work began, they lived with a friend.
Then, after fixing the electricity and heating, they moved.
First they set out to build a new bathroom, then real rebuilding changes happened.
The spouses were happy, because they were lucky that no one wanted to buy the old house which had been on sale for a few years.
Steve and Kristen worked with pleasure.
“Old homes always need a little love to bring them back to life,” Kristen explained.
They tried to keep the old shape of the house.
Steve explained that generally, older properties are of better quality.
The man also said that it was not easy to live in a house and at the same time carry out renovations.
“Not everyone is able to do this. You have to clean all around all the time so you don’t live in a mess, ”added Steve.
The hardworking couple managed to complete their project and now they have a nice and comfortable new home.
