The oldest of eight children, Carla Brown, a former attorney who now stays at home with her children, was from Chicago. She was encouraged to start her own family by her enormous family.
When Carla and her husband Paul were in their twenties, they received their two kids, Brent and Luke. Later, the couple adopted Sabrina, Ella, Logan, and Tessa as their fourth set of kids.
The former lawyer had the sizable brood she had imagined, yet she still made the decision to expand her family. She and her husband visited Ukraine in 2011 to adopt Henry. In 2013, they welcomed Violet, Leo, and Yana as their third set of kids.
Carla discovered a Facebook post from an adoption agency in Atlanta looking for a home for a month-old girl named Hanna who had special needs in June 2020.
