An Israeli woman apparently wants to set a record for natality.
At forty-two years old, she is already a grandmother, but she has not given up on her intention to expand her family.
An Israeli mother has given birth to her twentieth child. It seems that she is aiming for a new record in natality. After the arrival of her twentieth child, she stated that she could still have more.
In total, she has given birth eighteen times before the birth of her latest child, and only once did she have twins. She has spent 14 years of her life being pregnant.
The woman’s nineteenth delivery went smoothly and lasted 3 hours. The baby, a healthy boy, was born. She and her husband do not use contraception because their faith forbids it.
Remarkably, this woman is still far from the record.
Indeed, the absolute record for the highest number of children ever born is held by a Russian woman who lived in the 18th century.
She gave birth to sixty-nine children from 1725 to 1765!
