For his 21st birthday in 1968, Dave Radley’s mother gave him a gold ring.
But Dave’s happiness was fleeting because he soon lost his priceless ring while harvesting strawberries in his hometown.
Dave painstakingly searched the strawberry beds for the ring for hours, but in vain. Radley unable to locate it.
However, a miracle occurred 54 years later. The brother of Dave’s buddy Peter Lovett, who now possesses the property where the strawberries formerly flourished, called him. Using a metal detector, Peter had located the ring.
The ring was 7 inches deep in the earth, yet it was also in good condition with just a scratch on it.
Its owner had changed, but the ring hadn’t Radley chuckled.
