The couple had twin boys. And it turned out that the firstborn is younger than his brother!
On November 6, 2016, at 01:39, little Samuel Peterson was born. His brother Ronan was born at 02:10.
However, at 2 o’clock in the morning, the clocks were turned back by one hour.
As a result, it was discovered that Ronan was born at 01:10. That means he is older than his brother.
At least on paper. A family from West Barnstable wrote about it on Facebook, adding a group photo.
More than 1500 users commented on the post, and more than 500 shared this fantastic story.
The comments poured in one after the other. Some congratulated the time travelers for the birth.
And some thought the boys would fight their whole lives for the right to be called the older brother.
The nurse who delivered the twins, Deb Totten, said she had never experienced such situations.
Despite working in the maternity hospital for 40 years.
Seth Peterson, 45, a police officer from Massachusetts, knew the boys would be born around midnight.
He admits to having a feeling that something unusual was about to happen. Either a clock shift, or a birth on two different days.
His 32-year-old wife, a homemaker, heard the nurses whispering at the moment of Ronan’s birth.
And then she saw how the clock hands had turned back in the delivery room. She was amazed at what was happening.
So the twins Samuel and Ronan joined Aubrey, their older sister. These are the unusual stories of life!
