Wedding day is one of the most important days in people’s lives. And they always want to share such an event with the closest and most beloved ones. That’s why, according to wedding traditions, important roles are assigned to the closest people at the wedding, such as maid of honor, witness, and so on. The position of flower girls usually goes to the younger family members.
However, this couple decided to do things differently! The bride, Lyndsey Raby, chose to give this role to her four grandmothers. During the wedding planning, she knew she had to involve her grandmothers in the process. After all, they were the most important women in her life.
The girl’s team included Lyndsey’s two grandmothers, the great-grandmother, and the groom’s grandmother. They wore beautiful blue lace dresses and carried bags with the inscription: “Here comes the bride!”
Natalie Caho, the wedding photographer, said she had seen many beautiful flower girls in her experience, but these four beauties were the best. Not only did they decorate the celebration with their presence, but they were also the life of the entire party!
The grandmothers were very excited and happy to have such a wonderful role. They felt young again and showed everyone that age is just a number.
