Adriana Iliescu became famous worldwide thanks to her strong desire to become a mother. The fact is that she was already 66 years old when her daughter, Eliza, was born. Adriana devoted her whole life to her career; she became an esteemed science professor and even got married. However, her husband never wanted children.
So Iliescu spent her whole life longing for an heir but didn’t risk taking this responsible step. And so, when she was around 60 years old, Adriana decided to have a child. Naturally, it was no longer possible, so she turned to in vitro fertilization for assistance.
After several attempts, the woman succeeded in becoming pregnant. She was the happiest woman in the world. After 9 months, a completely healthy girl was born. She is now 16 years old, and Adriana herself is 82. Eliza is not concerned about her mother’s age, although her friends pay attention to it.
