But sometimes things don’t go as expected, like this man who, while renovating his own house, found a bag full of money.
A married couple from America had invested a lot in buying a house they had been dreaming of for a long time.
Now, a resident of the American city of Cleveland, Ohio, understands that he hasn’t spent in vain because he received a good cashback.
The repair work started in the basement, and there, an old bag was discovered, in which about 50,000 US dollars were hidden.
Lucky recalls: “I dragged it out and called my wife. Inside, there was something, but not heavy, like coins or gold bars.”
On the street, he found that the bag was hiding a huge amount of money. He found a second similar bag nearby in the basement.
Along with the greenbacks, there was the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper from March 25, 1951.
However, not even this helped to guess where such a large deposit came from in the purchased house.
According to US law, the family has every right to dispose of this money at their discretion.
The couple decided to pay off their mortgage with their newfound help.
