A resident of Utah declared on social media that no one came to her son’s birthday party because it fell on New Year’s Day.
As a result, the upset birthday boy was flooded with gifts and well-wishes from perfect strangers.
The mother of nine-year-old Jayden, Rosario Lopez, wrote a post describing how she had organized a party for her son’s birthday and sent out invitations in advance.
However, no one came to the birthday party, neither friends nor relatives.
As a result, mother and son spent that day alone. In a post published in a local group, Rosario apologized for the inconvenience and asked everyone if it wouldn’t be too much trouble to congratulate her son in the comments and write a few kind words to him.
However, the mother did not expect that her request would receive hundreds of likes, people would start asking for their home address, and they would send gifts, things, toys, and even personally come to congratulate the birthday boy.
In the comments, people whose birthdays fall during major holidays began sharing their own feelings to uplift Jayden.
He realized he was not alone. Another mother wrote that her children would soon have birthdays too and invited Jayden and Rosario to celebrate together.
