As the girl herself says, she constantly faces challenges due to her short stature and childlike appearance.
From a young age, she suffered from a serious illness that halted her body’s growth and development at the age of 8.
At 6 months old, Shona was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. The child received chemotherapy, which affected her growth.
Now, she has only reached a height of 1.17 meters. This unusual girl even made a documentary titled “I am Shauna Ray.”
In this documentary, she shares the problems she constantly faces.
Moreover, she cannot lead a normal personal life and rarely goes to clubs and bars because society perceives her as a child.
People who see her for the first time do not understand at all that there is an adult woman in front of them.
Shona says that most incidents happen when she wants to join a gym or get a tattoo.
Shona’s mother remembers how difficult it was for them during her daughter’s treatment and even feels guilty that there are now so many difficulties in her life.
After the treatment, the girl’s pituitary gland almost stopped functioning.
