Dee Harkrider, a 61-year-old woman from Wynne, Arkansas, shared a photo with a 19-year-old on her Facebook page, posting a beautiful heartwarming story.
She said she lost her wallet in a parking lot. The wallet contained not only money, but also very important documents.
Fortunately, a young man named Delivontae Johnson found him in the same parking lot after parking his car.
It turned out that the lady left her wallet in a shopping cart.
Opening the wallet, the boy found some money and some documents including the woman’s identity card.
Delivontae managed to find its owner on Facebook and wrote him a message, but received no response.
So the teenager found the woman’s address on the pensioner’s card and decided to visit her.
The kind-hearted boy drove twenty kilometers to return the purse to Dee Harkrider.
When the pensioner saw the young man, she was very surprised and very moved. She was infinitely happy to recover her money and above all, her documents.
In gratitude, Dee gave the young man a $20 bill.
“I wish I could give him more money,” the woman told USA TODAY.
Madame Harkrider took a selfie with Delivontae and shared the photo on Facebook where she also told this story.
“I wanted people to know that in this world there are such honest people who can act without expecting profit. »
This kind act of the young man sparked a friendly relationship with the retiree.
