Mrs. Pocock, originally from Idaho, lives near a canal that always has a strong current.
One day, while she was working in her garden, something strange caught her attention.
According to the woman, she had long been disturbed by a canal with a strong current that posed a threat to passersby.
She had realized that if someone fell into the canal, they wouldn’t be able to save themselves.
Once, a little girl with a stroller and accompanied by a dog was walking near the canal.
Suddenly, something caught the dog’s attention, and it ran abruptly to the side, pulling the stroller with the child on a long leash, which ended up in the water immediately.
Without hesitation, Mrs. Pocock jumped into the icy and turbulent water of the canal and grabbed the stroller.
The courageous woman struggled to pull it to the shore, clinging to sticks and plants along the way.
The savior of the child admits that at that moment, the Lord Himself endowed her with strength.
Once she reached the shore, Mrs. Pocock discovered that she had been seriously injured, but she hadn’t even noticed it when she was trying to save the stroller because she noticed that the child had started turning blue.
Undeterred, she gently turned the child and gave him a light tap on the back. The child coughed and started breathing again.
By this time, an ambulance had already arrived, called by eyewitnesses to the heroism of Mrs. Pocock.
